The Ashram Mount Eliza is a unique place, the only one of its kind in Australia. It serves those seeking spiritual wisdom and inner solutions to life’s difficulties. It is run by MM Swami Shankarananda and Devi Ma Saraswati, who are both long-time disciples of the great Indian guru, Swami Muktananda.
A residential yoga and meditation school, it is rooted in the philosophy of meditation, Self-inquiry, Kashmir Shaivism, Patanjali Yoga, Vedanta and Kundalini yoga. The residents are dedicated to spirituality, meditation, and service to humanity. It hosts regular retreats, yoga classes, Self-inquiry sessions, yoga teacher training, and meditation programs, as well as biennial pilgrimages to Ganeshpuri, India.
Meditation Intensives with Shaktipat are held several times throughout the year. In these programs Swamiji gives ‘the touch’ which awakens the dormant spiritual energy of seekers. Shaktipat not only enlivens meditation, but every aspect of life. Awakening is food for the soul.
The Ashram is is currently hosting all of it’s programs online due to quarantine restrictions.
